Acts upstream of or within several processes, including cellular response to leukemia inhibitory factor; regulation of genetic imprinting; and spermatid development. Located in cytoplasm and nucleus. Part of protein-containing complex. Is expressed in early conceptus; gonad; tail; and ureter. Orthologous to human ZFP42 (ZFP42 zinc finger protein).
