Series GSE122808 Query DataSets for GSE122808
Status Public on Nov 30, 2020
Title Mesenchymal transition and acquired therapy resistance of glioblastoma cells is connected to astrocyte reactivity (DNA methylation data set)
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Methylation profiling by genome tiling array
Summary We show that Glioma initiating cells (GICs) can, through MES transition, enter a reactive-astrocyte-like cell state which is connected to increased therapy resistance

Overall design Illumina Infinium Methylation EPIC array analyses were performed according to the manufacturer's directions on genomic DNA extracted from clonal malignant glioma cells in time series of IL1 stimulation (1-42 days) and corresponding control cells.
