Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Non-coding RNA profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
In this study, we reporte the altered miRNAs expression in the human breast cancer cell line (MCF7) derived mammosphere in response to withaferin A IC50 concentrations (2 µM)..

Overall design |
Withaferin A is a major pharmacological active constituent of Withania somnifera (Solanaceae). In this study we were aimed to identify the diffentially expressed known/novel miRNAs using next generation sequencing (NGS) in withaferin A treated MCF7 derived mammosphere. For this, MCF7 cells were initially treated with withaferin A with 2 µM concentration (experimental groups) and without treated MCF7 cells (the control group) were allowed to form spheres and incubated at 37 ºC under a 95% humid environment in an incubator having 5% CO2 for five days. Three samples were assigned for each group.
