    1. AngII activates PKD via a mechanism involving Src family kinases and PKC, to underlie increased aldosterone production.

    2. Data indicate that Ser738/742-to-glutamate protein kinase D mutant increased AngII-induced CREB protein and activating transcription factor 2 phosphorylation, and phospho-CREB binding to the steroidogenic acute regulatory protein promoter.
