General protein information

Names
transporter belonging to the MFS superfamily
XP_002296799.1
  • Good hits to other MFS transporters. The best hit was to a tetracycline resistance protein from Pyrobaculum aerophilum with 20.34% (72/354) identity. This protein also contains InterPro domain #IPR003662 and IPR000169 which are characteristic of general substrate transporters and of eukaryotic thiol proteases, respectively. This protein has relatively good homology to pfam model #PF00083 for sugar (and other) transporters (21% identity over an alignment of 97 amino acids).
