Study: Effects of iron overload on primary hepatocyte of WT and Fxr-/- mice

WT and Fxr-/- mouse primary hepatocytes were treated with FAC or AC for 24 h. The transcriptome profiling (RNA-seq) analysis revealed that FXR plays critical roles in regulating iron homeostasis. Overall design: Liver-derived WT and Fxr-/- mouse primary hepatocytes were cultured in 10% FBS containing DMEM and treated with FAC (100µM) or AC(100µM) for 24 h. Total RNA was subjected to RNA sequencing.
