Construction protocol: Briefly, mRNA was isolated from total RNA using oligo-dT magnetic beads. After fragmentation of the mRNA, cDNA synthesis was performed followed by ligation of sequencing adapters and PCR amplification. The quality and yield after sample preparation was measured with a Fragment Analyzer (Advanced Analytical, Heidelberg, Germany). The Ultra Directional RNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina (New England Biolabs, Ipswich, MA) was used to prepare and process the samples.
