Study: A gut commensal protist protects against virus-mediated loss of oral tolerance_2
show Abstracthide Abstract
To better understand how Tritrichomonas arnold colonization impacts the reovirus-mediated proinflammatory response in mesenteric lymph nodes, we examined the transcriptional profile of mesenteric lymph nodes For RNA-sequencing single cell suspension of mesenteric lymph nodes were lysed in RLT buffer (Qiagen) and RNA was isolated Overall design: Wild-type mice were inoculated perorally with 10^6 Tritrichomonas arnold or PBS control for 12 days followed by peroral inoculation with 10^9 PFU of reovirus strain T1L or PBS control for 48 hours. Bulk RNA-sequencing mesenteric lymph nodes (PBS, n =4), (T1L, n = 4), (T1L+T. arnold, n =4), (T. arnold, n = 4).
Sample: mesenteric lymph nodes, PBS, rep3
