Identification of the most prevalent food/waterborne trematode parasites {liver flukes (Fasciola gigantica, Opisthorchis spp.), Intestinal flukes (Fasciolopsis buski, Artyfechinostoma surfratyfex), lungflukes (Paragonimus westermani) and Gastrodiscoides hominis) that are recognized as having zoonotic potential in the NE Region and extraction of their DNA and polyA+ RNA of high quality. ?Sequencing of the DNA and polyA+ RNA preparations using Illumina platform. ?Molecular characterization and partial/complete genome information for these choosen parasites. ?Genetic makeup of the species ?Functional genome and transcriptome analysis ?Identification of characteristic markers for the parasites ?Creation of a webserver for the sequence data
