SRX7272455: RNA-Seq of Dalbergia oliveri: pooled sample DBCO_gp1_seq2
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 4000) run: 89.6M spots, 26.9G bases, 10Gb downloads

Design: Pooled RNA samples were sent to the Oxford Genomics Centre (Oxford, United Kingdom) for library preparation and sequencing. The Poly(A) mRNA fraction was isolated from the total RNA with NEBNext Poly(A) mRNA Magnetic Isolation Module (New England BioLabs), and then pooled libraries were prepared with NEBNext Ultra II Directional RNA Library Prep Kit (New England BioLabs). The prepared libraries were size selected, multiplexed and quality-checked, and finally sequenced on the HiSeq4000 (Illumina) with the paired-end read length of 150 bp. The raw reads were obtained in fastq files after in-house preliminary quality check.

Study: Reference transcriptomes of Dalbergia cochinchinensis, Dalbergia frutescens, Dalbergia melanoxylon, Dalbergia miscolobium, Dalbergia oliveri, and Dalbergia sissoo
show Abstracthide Abstract
The genus Dalbergia Linn. f. (Fabaceae: Faboideae) contains around 250 species, many of which are globally recognized for their ecological and economic value. We produced the first reference transcriptomes from de novo assembly for six Dalbergia species, including Dalbergia cochinchinensis, Dalbergia frutescens, Dalbergia melanoxylon, Dalbergia miscolobium, Dalbergia oliveri, and Dalbergia sissoo. We also produced the annotation reports for each transcriptome. These reference transcriptomes add a valuable resource to the current dataset, and will open up future studies of Dalbergia species towards their evolution and conservation in a broader context.
Sample: Pooled plant sample DBOL_gp1 from Dalbergia oliveri
