SRX3214813: small RNA-seq of Arabidopsis thaliana: stems 4cm above a Cuscuta campestris haustorium

Design: Total RNA was isolated using Tri-Reagent (Sigma) and used as input to the NEBNext Small RNA Library Prep Set for Illumina. Bar coded Small RNA-seq libraries were made following the manufacturer's instructions, quality-controlled, and pooled for single-end, 50nt sequencing on an Illumina HiSeq2500 instrument in rapid run mode. Libraries were deconvoluted by barcodes.

Study: Small RNA-seq from Cuscuta campestris with various host plants
show Abstracthide Abstract
Small RNA-seq was performed from haustoria of C. campestris along with attached host stems in order to find haustorium-specific small RNAs from various hosts. The primary motivation of this study is to identify C. campestris small RNAs that function in a trans-species manner to regulate host mRNAs.
