Design: Total RNA was extracted from pooled adult specimens and shipped to GeneCore (EMBL Genomics Core Facilities, Heidelberg, Germany) for library construction and sequencing. A cDNA library was prepared with the Clontech SMARTer Universal Low Input RNA Kit using oligo-dT purification to select mRNA. The library was sequenced on a full lane of an Illumina HiSeq 2000.
