Design: Both plant root-associated biofilm and wastewater were collected from six bioreactor tanks at the ecological wastewater treatment facility at the Vietnam Memorial rest area on northbound Interstate 89 in Sharon, Vermont. Paired-end whole genome shotgun sequencing was performed using genomic DNA from each unfiltered sample on an Illumina HiSeq 2000.
