show Abstracthide AbstractThis project contains the sequence data produced via genome skimming and HybSeq for various taxa within the commercially important ginseng family Araliaceae. Here, genome skimming techniques combined with targeted enrichment were employed to obtain whole chloroplast genomes, hundreds of nuclear genes, and rDNA repeats. The nuclear and organelle genomic data are utilized as super-barcodes to aid in phylogenetic resolution and identification of taxa where traditional DNA barcodes are not adequate. This NCBI BioProject contains records that were generated with support from the federally-funded Smithsonian Institution Barcode Network.
