1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2500) run: 18.1M spots, 3.6G bases, 2.2Gb downloads

Design: Ballast water samples were collected from five bulk carriers coming from different parts (Lakes Erie, Huron, Michigan, and Ontario) of the Great Lakes of North America but all arriving in three terminals of the Port of Duluth-Superior. The harbor water samples from the three port terminals were also collected near vicinity of the three vessels whose ballast waters were sampled.
