SRX19687523: Metatranscriptomes of harmful algal bloom in Sandusky Bay, Lake Erie, 2019
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2500) run: 81.8M spots, 16.5G bases, 4.4Gb downloads

Design: Extracted RNA was sent to Discovery Life Sciences (Huntsville, AL), where the samples were treated to reduce rRNA using TruSeq Stranded Total RNA with Ribo-Zero Plant kit (Illumina, San Diego, CA). RNA was sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform with paired-end reads of 150 base pairs.

Study: Metatranscriptomes of Planktothrix agardhii dominated harmful algal blooms in Sandusky Bay, Lake Erie, 2019
show Abstracthide Abstract
Metatranscriptomic data set from a transitioning bloom in Sandusky Bay, Lake Erie. Historically dominated by Planktothrix agardhii, the 2019 bloom season was the first in which cyanobacteria other than Planktothrix dominated for most of the season. Transcripts were taken to understand the function of the bloom community structure.
