Dabrafenib is used alone or in combination with trametinib to treat melanoma (skin cancer) that has spread or that cannot be removed by surgery. The aim of this report was to assess the added benefit of dabrafenib in adult patients with BRAF V600 mutation-positive unresectable or metastatic melanoma. The benefit assessment was conducted in comparison with the appropriate comparator therapy (ACT) dacarbazine specified by the Federal Joint Committee.
