KC declared a non-personal pecuniary interest; the Trust that she works for has received a grant from Sanofi Aventis to develop a computerised assessment tool for VTE. Additionally she is a director of the Lifeblood Charity which receives some donations from the pharmaceutical industry. This is not a paid position. She declared a personal non-pecuniary interest; she is a member of Thrombosis Committee at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust and has helped develop Trust VTE guidelines.
