Abstract

Presbyopia is the most common form of visual impairment in older people. To correct this condition, older people may be prescribed multifocal glasses. These have benefits for tasks, such as driving or cooking, that require change in focal length. However, the lower part of the lens will blur distant objects and impair depth perception.
