Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine prevalence of antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL) including anticardiolipin antibodies (aCL), and anti-beta2GP1 in a cohort of 32 patients with primary Sjogren's syndrome (pSS) diagnosed according to revised European criteria. aPL were found in 9/32 (28%) patients (IgG in 8 and IgM in one case). Anti-beta2GPI antibodies were detected only in two patients. Titres were usually low.
