A decrease was found in the total activity of superoxide-dismutase in the liver of animals with different kinds of transplanted tumours. It is due to a drop in the activity of cytosole (copper-zinc containing) form of the enzyme. The level of the activity depends on the type of tumour growth and its durability in the host body.
