The value of nausea and vomiting due to Ménière's disease--a theory.

Abstract

The vegetative symptoms of nausea and vomiting commonly accompany vertigo. Although unpleasant, these symptoms may have been beneficial in times past by preventing an imbalanced and vulnerable animal from foraging for food.
