[Redox reactions of flavins and coenzyme Q-10 in the heart during experimental ischemia and reperfusion]

Abstract

Free radical EPR-signal intensity of the rat heart tissue decreases during ischemia and increases at the initial steps of reperfusion, relaxation characteristics of the signal being unchanged. These data imply that free radical content of the heart decreases during ischemia and increases upon reperfusion.
