Abstract

A 95-year-old male presented with a dislocated hip hemiarthroplasty after falling off his chair. After closed reposition, symptoms of dislocation remained. A control X-ray showed a disassociation of the prosthesis at the head-neck interface. Therefore, open reposition was performed. X-ray control is important to encounter complications, which can occur after reposition.
