All patients were subjected to diagnostic angiogra phy, which allowed to localize or con firm the haemorrhage site in 37 (77%) cases. Twenty eight (58%) out of 48 analyzed patients underwent embolizaion and hemorrhage was successfully controlled in 19 (68%) of these cases There were no complications in the analyzed group related to the perfor med intravascular procedures.
