Hazard ratio (HR) and 95% confidence interval (CI) for all-cause mortality predicted by soy products (A) and isoflavones (B) using restricted cubic splines with knots at 5th, 10th, 25th, 50th, 75th, 90th and 95th percentiles of intake and the 5th percentile of intake as the reference (the 5th, 10th, 25th and 50th percentiles of daily soy product intake were 0 mg/1,000 kcal). Models adjusted for body mass index, age at diagnosis, ethnicity, energy intake, stage, hormone receptor status, treatment, cardiovascular comorbidity, history of diabetes, smoking status, and years between cohort entry and diagnosis. Stage and hormone receptor status were included as time dependent variables.
