The amount of SP present in the reproductive tract (minus the SR) of mates of control and iab-6cocu males was determined in a dilution series (1∶1 (lanes 6 and 9), 1∶2 (lanes 7 and 10), and 1∶4 (lanes 8 and 11) and are equivalent to 5 RTs, 2.5 RTs, and 1.25 RTs). There is no appreciable difference in the amount of transferred SP.
