Abstract

Treatment with radiopharmaceuticals which selectively target lesions is called targeted radionuclide therapy(TRT). These days, the requirement for TRTs such as treatment for differentiated thyroid cancer with radioactive iodine, is on the increase. In addition, a new TRT agent is currently in a clinical trial. Here, current issues regarding TRT and its possible future use are discussed.
