Abstract

Intracorporeal papaverine self-injection therapy has gained widespread acceptance in the treatment of impotence. Treatment for the opposite, recurrent priapism, is also possible with the same technique using a vasoconstrictive drug. We report a patient with idiopathic recurrent priapism successfully managed by intracorporeal self-injection with epinephrine.
