Streptozotocin: an inactive agent in small cell carcinoma

Cancer Clin Trials. 1979 Spring;2(1):59-61.

Abstract

Fifteen patients with advanced small cell carcinoma of the lung were treated with streptozotocin. No objective reponses were seen. A review of the literature reveals no objective response in a total of 56 patients, indicating that this agent is inactive as a single agent in small cell carcinoma.
