Abstract

Osteoporosis, as well as renal osteodystrophy, is a skeletal disorder predisposing to an increased risk of fracture. Although some medications to CKD-MBD prevent fragility fracture, the incidence of the fracture will increase according to the aging of the patients on maintenance hemodialysis.
