Objective: To screen different macroporous adsorption resins for isolation and purification of flavonoids from Spatholobus suberectus.
Methods: 6 kinds of macroporous adsorption resins were assayed for their adsorbability and deadsorbability of total flavonoids from Spatholobus suberectus.
Results: HPD 400 resin was found with good adsorbability and deadsorbability.
Conclusion: HPD 400 resin and AB-8 resins can be used for enriching high contents of total flavonoids from Spatholobus suberectus, and more than 50% of flavonoids were enriched from the extract of Spatholobus suberectus.
