Gas-chromatographic display of the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon fraction of cigarette smoke

Abstract

High electron-affinity polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in cigarette smoke are detected by gas chromatography. The resulting gas chromatograms can be used for "fingerprint" indentification of the hydrocarbon fractions in cigarette smoke.
