Abstract

INTRODUCTION:

The number of patients diagnosed with adenocarcinoma in situ of the cervix has increased in the last decade. The number of pregnant patients with this disease can also be expected to increase.

CASES:

In this report, we describe three patients diagnosed with adenocarcinoma in situ of the cervix during pregnancy.

DISCUSSION:

The management of adenocarcinoma in situ of the cervix may include procedures which present substantial risks to an ongoing pregnancy and more conservative management may be warranted in many instances.
