Abstract
We present 3 patients diagnosed with myotonic dystrophy who developed recurrences of secondary opacification. One developed a dense posterior vitreous membrane. Patients with myotonic dystrophy may have an increased risk for recurrent secondary opacification and for developing intraocular fibrosis after cataract extraction.
