[Article in French]

Abstract

PIP: The author analyzes the results of a survey of 150 primary school students in three sections of Tunis and one rural region of Tunisia concerning actual and ideal family size. The students, aged 10-13, drew pictures in response to questions asked. Findings are presented concerning attitudes about family size and sex preference. Differences in responses are noted among those of differing socioeconomic background and place of residence.
