Abstract

PIP: Sexuality is the energy that exists within the body since birth and is vital in the relationship with others as a means of becoming a person and part of a community. Sexual health and healthy sexuality also belong to the set of terms of health, education, and democracy. It is impossible to talk about these concepts without affection and the involvement of the individual with others and the surrounding world. Healthy sexuality does not only mean the knowledge about and avoidance of sexually transmitted diseases and acting in accordance with social norms, but also vitality and intimacy. Other related concepts are the family, country, school, and teachers that are part and parcel of the educational process of children, socialization for the development of fundamental skills for life. The additional terms of psychologist, physician, and nurse evoke the spiral of development of becoming a person and a community where freedom, solidarity, and happiness could be enjoyed. This is why sex education is fundamental for the promotion of health in schools as part of the educational process using questions, debates in sexology courses which transmit knowledge, develop attitudes, and stimulate interpersonal communication by role playing, drama, and posters. The maintenance of the dialogue of school and country and the stimulation of the dialogue of children-parents is crucial in this process.
