Abstract

Physicians are taught the old adage that when you hear hoof beats, "think horses, not zebras" when diagnosing common symptoms. According to two recent studies by Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions' researchers, physicians aren't thinking "allergy" enough when it comes to their asthmatic patients.
