KIE: The final report (on postnatal and neonatal care) of Britain's Maternal Services Advisory Committee, chaired by Alison Munro, found that increased funding is necessary for the provision of adequate maternity services and that intensive care services for small and handicapped infants could be "heading for a crisis." Regional centers are working under considerable strain because of inadequate facilities and lack of money to pay skilled nurses.
