Br J Obstet Gynaecol. 1975 Jun;82(6):501-4. doi: 10.1111/j.1471-0528.1975.tb00676.x.

Abstract

Twenty-three patients with urethral loss have been treated by the simple creation ofa "spout" from the bladder wall. The procedure is suggested for the surgical treatment of lymphopathia venereum and for consideration in certain other conditions when urinary diversion is unacceptable.
