Treatment algorithm for the diagnosis and management of CBP and CP/CPPS. In patients describing typical neuropathic pain symptoms (e.g. ‘burning’, ‘shooting’ pain), or in any patient with persistent pain (>3 months), consider the possibility of neuropathic pain and treatment with appropriate anti‐neuropathic medication strategies.
