Absolute values are shown for heart rate to account for baseline increases induced by RS-79948. Each point represents the mean value with s.e.mean. The mean data are obtained from two, single crossover studies with five mice in each study. The effect of moxonidine is compared with the appropriate vehicle (vehicle/vehicle or RS-79948/vehicle) using Student t-tests or Wilcoxon Rank Sum tests.
