Gary Ward (Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, University of Vermont) serves as guarantor for this Journal Club.

We are a group of grad students, postdocs, technicians and faculty in Burlington, Vermont, with a common interest in the cell and molecular biology of apicomplexan parasites, particularly Toxoplasma gondii. We meet monthly, taking turns choosing a paper and leading the discussion. We usually review recently published work but sometimes cover “classics” in the field, focusing on what makes them classic and connecting them to work that has been done since.
