Intracranial sinus thrombosis

Formation or presence of a blood clot (thrombus) in the cranial sinuses, large endothelium-lined venous channels situated within the skull. Intracranial sinuses, also called cranial venous sinuses, include the superior sagittal, cavernous, lateral, petrous sinuses, and many others.
