Title 28260_KSO_M_KY
Sample type SRA

Source name muscle
Organism Bos taurus
Characteristics breed: Hanwoo/coreanae
gender type: castrated male
age: 30 months
feeding barn: Hanwoo Experimental Station in National Institute of Animal Science
tissue: muscle
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was isolated using GeneAll Hybrid-RTM Kit (Cat# 305-101) from each tissues. Illumina TruSeq RNA Sample Prep Kit (Cat#FC-122-1001) was used with 5 ug of total RNA for the construction of sequencing libraries.

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 2000

Description mRNA-Sequencing
Data processing Quality of RNA-seq reads from all of the adipose tissues were checked using FastQC.
Reads passed the quality control were mapped to Bovine Taurus genome (bosTau6) from UCSC using Tophat2 (v2.0.2).
The reads were counted using HTseq (v0.5.3p3).
Genome_build: bosTau6
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: tab-delimited text files include raw counts of genes (abundance measurements) for each sample.
