Sample GSM8033421 Query DataSets for GSM8033421
Status Public on Apr 23, 2024
Title s76075
Sample type SRA

Source name aorta
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics tissue: aorta
Sex: female
genotype: Ldlr-/-
diet: Continuous HFD
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was extracted from thoracic aorta samples with Qiagen columns (RNeasy MiniSpin Columns) using a polytron (T25 basic, IKA, Labortechnik)
RNA concentrations were obtained using nanodrop or a fluorometric Qubit RNA assay (Life Technologies, Grand Island, New York, USA). The quality of the RNA (RNA integrity number) was determined on the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer (Agilent Technologies, Palo Alto, CA, USA) as per the manufacturer’s instructions. RNA sequencing 344 libraries were prepared from 100 ng of total mRNA using the Illumina® Stranded Total RNA 345 Prep

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina NextSeq 500

Data processing Fastq files were aligned using STAR algorithm (version 2.7.6a), on the mm10 Ensembl 346 release 101 reference. Reads were then count using RSEM (v1.3.1).
Assembly: GRCm38
Supplementary files format and content: raw counts per gene, by sample
