Sample GSM734837 Query DataSets for GSM734837
Status Public on Jul 13, 2011
Title Alzheimer's Disease serum (PD vs. AD) sample 5
Sample type other

Source name AD5
Organism Homo sapiens
Characteristics age: UNK
gender: Male
mini mental state exam (mmse) score: 12
sample type: serum
disease state: Alzheimer's Disease
Extracted molecule other
Extraction protocol All serum (PD vs. AD) samples were purchased from commercial biofluid repositiories, drawn and stored under proper conditions, and collected and used with IRB approval.
Label Alexa Fluor 647
Label protocol standard Invitrogen protocol

Hybridization protocol Probing and analysis of microarrays was performed with strict adherence to suggested manufacturer protocols. (See Invitrogen and Molecular Devices online.)
Scan protocol Protein microarrays were scanned using a Genepix 4000B microarray scanner at 635nm using default parameters and a pixel size of 5um.
Data processing The GPR files were imported into Invitrogen's Prospector v5.2 microarray analysis software. Individual serum (PD vs. AD) results were characterized into disease and control groups and then linearly normalized for group-to-group analysis of differential expression.
