Data processing Raw signal intensities were obtained from IDAT-files using the minfi Bioconductor package. Signal intensities were normalized per sample by performing a background correction (shifting of mean negative control probe intensity to 0) and a dye-bias correction (scaling of mean normalization control probe intensity to 10,000). Standard beta-values were calculated.
