Title |
mPFC LSD rep6 |
Sample type |
SRA |
|
|
Source name |
mPFC
|
Organism |
Rattus norvegicus |
Characteristics |
strain: Sprague-Dawley gender: male tissue: medial prefrontal cortex treatment: LSD
|
Treatment protocol |
Rats were injected (i.p.) with either sterile saline, or LSD (0.16 mg/kg) every other day for 90 days.
|
Growth protocol |
Male Sprague-Dawley rats obtained from Harlan (Indianapolis, IN) were aged 6-8 weeks (180-200 g) at the start of treatment. Animals were housed individually for seven days before treatment, during which time they were handled for 15 min each day. During treatment, rats were individually housed in translucent home cages, allowed free access to food and water, and kept on a 12:12 h light/dark cycle.

Extracted molecule |
total RNA |
Extraction protocol |
4 μg of total extracted RNA were subjected to poly(A) selection. Sample libraries were prepared with Illumina mRNA sample preparation kits.

Description |
LSD_6
|
Data processing |
Reads were mapped to the Rattus norvegicus rn6 reference assembly using Hisat2. Gene counts were computed using the htseq-count tool from the HTSeq package and the ncbi RefSeq gtf file. Genome_build: rn6 (Rnor_6.0) Supplementary_files_format_and_content: Raw_gene_counts_matrix.txt: Matrix table with raw gene counts for every gene and every sample.
