Data processing Paired end reads were combined after trimming of adapters on R1 and subjected to fastq quality control and trimming
Cell barcodes were extracted from reads and attached to read name. This was done using the DropSeq alignment protocol
Reads were aligned to S. cerevisiae genome for MPA experiments, or aligned to the cerevisiae and bayanus genomes for the species mixing experiments
Aligned reads had gene and exon information added to produce digital gene expression data
MPA experiment data was integrated and analyzed using the seurat standard integration protocol
Genome_build: S. cerevisiae genome (R64-1-1), or S. bayanus genome (unassembled CBS 7001)
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: .dge files are in txt format and contain digital gene expression data of individual genes per cell
